OPEN POSITIONS:

Job Position: Site Engineer – High-Rise Building
Location: Qatar
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

1 – Site Supervision
– Supervise daily civil and construction activities according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements
– Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
– Ensure construction activities are completed according to the approved project programme
– Supervise structural works including excavation, foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, and related works
– Supervise finishing works including masonry, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, and external works
– Verify dimensions, levels, alignment, and elevations

2 – Drawings & Technical Coordination
– Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and relevant project documents
– Identify and resolve discrepancies between architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
– Coordinate with consultants, QA/QC Engineers, MEP teams, subcontractors, and other disciplines
– Prepare and raise RFIs/TQs for technical clarifications
– Ensure only the latest approved drawings and documents are used at site

3 – QA/QC
– Ensure construction activities comply with approved specifications, ITPs, method statements, and quality requirements
– Coordinate inspections with the QA/QC Engineer and Consultant/Client representatives
– Prepare inspection requests and ensure work is ready for inspection
– Monitor concrete, reinforcement, formwork, waterproofing, and other critical construction activities
– Follow up on NCRs and ensure corrective actions are implemented
– Maintain testing, inspection, and quality records

4 – HSE Responsibilities
– Ensure activities follow approved method statements, risk assessments, and project HSE requirements
– Participate in toolbox talks, daily coordination meetings, and safety briefings
– Identify unsafe conditions and report or stop unsafe work when necessary
– Ensure workers comply with PPE and safe working requirements
– Monitor high-risk activities including work at height, lifting operations, excavation, and confined-space activities
– Coordinate with the HSE team regarding JHA/JSA and risk-control measures
– Comply with applicable QatarEnergy HSE, Permit to Work (PTW), and site safety requirements

5 – Progress Monitoring
– Monitor daily and weekly construction progress against the approved programme
– Prepare daily site reports and progress updates
– Identify delays, constraints, and potential programme risks and recommend corrective actions
– Monitor manpower, equipment, and material requirements
– Coordinate with the Planning Engineer regarding progress measurement and reporting

6 – Materials Management
– Verify delivered materials against approved material submittals and project specifications
– Monitor material usage and minimize wastage
– Ensure materials are properly stored, protected, and handled at site
– Coordinate material inspections and approvals

7 – Documentation & Reporting
– Maintain site records, inspection requests, RFIs/TQs, drawings, reports, and other construction documentation
– Maintain records of concrete pours, testing, inspections, and approvals
– Assist in preparing as-built drawings, handover documents, and project close-out records
– Ensure all site documentation is properly maintained and controlled

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
– MMUP/UPDA registration
– Qatar authority approvals
– Minimum 8 years of experience
