Job Position:
1 – Façade Lighting Technician – Lighting & DMX
Location:
– Abu Dhabi, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
– Install and connect façade lighting fixtures, LED, RGB/RGBW, linear lights, controllers, decoders, power supplies, and DMX/data cables
– Perform DMX addressing, signal testing, basic configuration, and commissioning support
– Troubleshoot lighting, power, communication, and DMX-related issues
– Work with Traxon and other international lighting manufacturers and systems
– Assist Project Engineers with testing, programming, calibration, and system commissioning
– Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
– Attend emergency callouts and support rapid restoration of critical lighting systems
– Replace faulty fixtures, cables, connectors, power supplies, and other components
– Follow technical drawings, safety procedures, and installation standards
– Support site inspections, snagging, testing, and final handover
Required Technical Knowledge:
– Façade & architectural lighting
– RGB / RGBW lighting systems
– DMX512
– Basic Art-Net / sACN
– LED fixtures, controllers, decoders & power supplies
– DMX/data cabling and signal testing
– Installation, commissioning & troubleshooting
– Traxon and other major architectural lighting suppliers
Requirements:
– Hands-on site experience is essential
– Experience with façade lighting, architectural lighting projects, DMX-controlled systems, or dynamic lighting installations is highly encouraged
