Job Position: Stakeholder Engineer / Authorities Liaison Engineer

Location:
– Abu Dhabi

Key Responsibilities:
– Manage submissions, approvals, permits, NOCs, inspections, and clearances from Abu Dhabi Municipality and other relevant authorities
– Coordinate with government authorities, utility providers, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams
– Follow up on drawings, technical submissions, permits, and authority comments to secure approvals within the project schedule
– Maintain an updated authority approvals and NOC tracker
– Identify potential approval delays and resolve authority-related issues proactively
– Support the project team in obtaining building permits, utility connections, completion certificates, and project handover approvals
– Ensure all submissions comply with applicable codes, standards, and authority requirements
– Attend stakeholder meetings and provide regular progress reports to project management

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
– Minimum 8 years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in Abu Dhabi
– Strong experience with a UAE main contractor or engineering consultancy
– Proven knowledge of Abu Dhabi Municipality, DMT, Civil Defense, utility providers, and other relevant authority requirements
– Experience coordinating civil, architectural, structural, and MEP approvals for major building projects
– Strong communication, documentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills
– Familiarity with authority submission portals and approval procedures
– UAE driving license is preferred
– Candidates who are locally available will be given preference
