Key Responsibilities
– Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medical examinations
– Diagnose and manage occupational illnesses and work-related injuries
– Provide fitness-for-duty assessments and health surveillance programs
– Identify and mitigate occupational hazards across diverse industries
– Develop and implement preventive health strategies and wellness programs
– Support hospital/organizational initiatives related to occupational health
– Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to recruitment processes
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve workplace health outcomes
– Design and oversee occupational health policies and procedures
– Implement performance management systems, including peer review and utilization review
– Contribute to strategic planning and organizational health initiatives
– Engage in occupational health research and evidence-based practice
– Conduct training sessions and awareness programs for employees and management
Requirements / Qualifications
– Medical degree with Board Certification in Occupational Medicine (or equivalent)
– Fellowship training in occupational health or related specialty preferred
– Minimum 5–7 years of experience in occupational health practice
– Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
– Expertise in workplace risk assessment and preventive health strategies
– Excellent communication and leadership abilities
– Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
– Knowledge of UAE labor laws and international occupational health standards
