Key Responsibilities
– Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
– Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by preparing journal entries
– Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
– Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records in compliance with financial policies
– Assist in the preparation and filing of tax forms and other government documents
– Help in processing accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner
– Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy of financial data and reports
– Maintain meticulous documentation of all financial transactions and records
– Contribute to auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and information
– Prepare accurate financial reports and summaries for management review
– Conduct regular ledger maintenance and ensure correct coding of transactions
– Analyze financial data to recommend ways to reduce costs and improve profitability
Requirements / Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
– Minimum of one year of experience in an accounting or finance role
– Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles essential for success
– Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP, preferred
– Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills required
– Effective communication skills necessary for interaction with diverse colleagues
– Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines
