Logistics Accountant

Requirements
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
– Minimum 5 years of UAE experience, preferably in logistics, construction, or infrastructure industries
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory accounting, and logistics cost control
– Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, Focus, or similar, plus Microsoft Excel
– Experience in accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting
– Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
– Immediate joiners preferred
Key Responsibilities
– Manage logistics-related accounting transactions including transport, freight, fuel, and equipment costs
– Verify and process supplier invoices, delivery notes, and logistics service bills
– Prepare purchase orders, goods receipt records, and reconcile logistics expenses
– Monitor inventory movements and coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams
– Maintain records of fleet operating expenses, fuel consumption, and equipment utilization
– Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
– Support month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
– Ensure compliance with company financial policies and audit requirements
