Mechanical Project Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi & Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities
– Plan and coordinate mechanical works for high-rise building projects.
– Review Design, IFC drawings, shop drawings and coordinated drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project requirements.
– Coordinate manpower, materials, subcontractors, and site activities.
– Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and ventilation works with other MEP disciplines.
– Identify clashes, discrepancies, and technical issues and coordinate necessary solutions.
– Prepare RFIs, material submittals, technical queries, and required project documentation.
– Monitor project progress, quality, testing, commissioning, and consultant inspections.
– Ensure works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, UAE regulations, and authority requirements.
– Attend coordination and progress meetings and support project execution and handover.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
– 5–8 years of relevant experience in mechanical/MEP contracting and building construction.
– Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, hotel, or mixed-use projects is an added advantage.
– Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical installation, testing & commissioning.
– Good knowledge of UAE codes, standards, and authority requirements.
