Key Responsibilities

– Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
– Ensure accurate application of accounting standards across revenue, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet items
– Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
– Maintain robust balance sheet reconciliations with supporting schedules
– Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, leading the annual audit process
– Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
– Oversee preparation and submission of UAE/ KSA tax and Zakat filings, ensuring compliance with local regulations and deadlines
– Coordinate with external tax advisors where necessary
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of KSA tax legislation and regulatory changes
– Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and automation
– Work closely with senior management to provide clear financial insights and analysis
– Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
– Provide technical accounting guidance to finance team members and wider business stakeholders

Requirements / Qualifications

– Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
– Strong technical accounting expertise with proven experience applying IFRS standards
– Background in external audit (Big 4 or reputable firm preferred), with subsequent industry experience
– Experience within professional services, consultancy, or similar environments
– Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with KSA tax and Zakat compliance
– Practical experience using NetSuite ERP (essential or highly preferred)
– Strong communication skills with ability to engage confidently with auditors, advisors, and senior stakeholders
– Arabic speaker
